Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Service Directory (Tasmania)
CODE (Community Online Drug Education), provided by the Drug Education Network (DEN) in Tasmania, provides free trustworthy information about alcohol and other drugs as well as links to support services:

ADIS is a free 24/7 telephone counselling, information and referral hotline, where you can seek help for yourself or another person’s alcohol or drug use.

This Turning Point service provides free 24/7 support for people with alcohol or other drug concerns, including family and friends who may be impacted. They have a variety of options to engage with counsellors, including online chat, SMS and peer support forums.
A free national telephone support helpline for people with alcohol or other drug concerns, including counselling for families and friends of a person struggling with alcohol use. FDS is also contactable via email, and runs various support groups and educational programs.

AA is an informal society of more than 2 million recovering alcoholics who provide each other with strength and hope so they may solve their common problem and help others to recover.

A free, weekly evidence-based recovery program that delivers Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and motivational techniques to groups of people with alcohol, other drug dependencies and other kinds of addictive behaviour.
Access Mental Health is a mental health support, triage, and referral phone line staffed 24/7 by trained mental health professionals and delivered by the Department of Health, Tasmania in partnership with Lifeline Tasmania.
